VERMONT, Conn.
— The web design community is at an all-time high.
A new report by The Associated Press, the leading news service in the world, said that there are now more than 100,000 websites worldwide with an annual traffic of more than $1 billion.
The report also said that the number of online businesses has risen more than 50% from 2007 to 2015, while the number for online stores has grown by more than 30%.
The AP says that while the web is growing in popularity, there are still a number of problems that many consumers and businesses are still facing.
For instance, the AP says consumers are still struggling with high prices for online goods and services, and there is a need for better products and services to make shopping more efficient.
It also says the web has become a major source of revenue for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon and Twitter.
It cites a survey by Kantar Worldpanel that showed the number and share of web traffic in the U.S. has nearly doubled since 2011, with the average brand now generating $9.7 billion in revenue per month.
In addition, the survey found that online sales of goods and materials have tripled since 2011.
The AP says there are more than 1,000 brands selling goods online and more than 3,500 companies producing content online, with nearly 1.5 million products available for download.
